Privacy Policy
When it comes to data processing, the protection and security of personal data is very important to us. We therefore strictly adhere to the requirements of the statutory provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), and other legal provisions. In accordance with the latest technology, we take all technical and organizational measures required for the secure processing of personal data.

Purpose of Data Processing:
In this section, we will inform you about what data is collected and for what purposes.
Automated Data Processing/Data Transmission
When you visit our website, data is collected automatically. This is necessary for technical reasons. However, it is not possible to link any of this data to the data subject – i.e., to you. This data is stored on the server in logfiles and collected purely for anonymous statistical purposes. This data includes, but is not limited to, information about the time of access, the browser used, the referrer URL (previously visited website), and other purely technical information about your hardware, operating system, and your browser. This data is not passed on to third parties.
Anonymization of IP Addresses (PRIVACY FIRST)
The protection of your privacy is very important to us. Therefore, we have used an IP address-masking module on our webserver, in keeping with recommendations made by Arbeitskreises Vorratsdatenspeicherung (“Working Group on Stockpile Data Storage”) – http://www.wirspeichernnicht.de. It is therefore not possible to make any identifying link to the client PC, person or company making the request – even when a static IP address is being used.
Collection of Personal Data
The processing of personal data and information takes place exclusively for the fulfillment of order-related processes and for the handling of contractual transactions.
The processing of personal data takes place only in the course of inquiries or contractual processes that the data subject or a third party commissioned by the data subject has sent to us. This may be, for example, in relation to a request for a quote.
If you have transmitted or sent your personal data to us, we can assure you that no disclosure to third parties will take place, unless it is necessary for the fulfillment of the order or due to legal stipulations.
Security Advice for Data Transfer on the Internet
Despite all technical and organizational measures, no guarantee can be given for the 100% security of the processing of your personal data via our website. Therefore, we recommend that you pass on particularly sensitive personal data by post or during a telephone call to us, insofar as the said data is required for fulfillment of your order.
Legal Basis for the Processing of Personal Data
The processing of personal data is carried out primarily on the basis of article 6 subparagraph 1 letter b of GDPR and for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual activities. Alternatively, in the case of a non-contractual constellation, data will be processed based on the express consent of the data subject, pursuant to Article 6 subparagraph 1 letter a of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Duration of Data Storage
Personal data is stored by us in the context of contractual processing per the statutory requirements for retention periods. In the case of exclusively pre-contractual processing, the personal data will be deleted within 4 weeks of the last process-related correspondence. An exception to this is a deletion request made by the data subject and directly complied with, insofar as no legal regulation precludes this and no governmental authority has made a request for said information.
Disclosure of Personal Data – Categories of Recipients
Personal data will only be passed on to third parties if this is absolutely necessary for the fulfillment of our contractual obligations to the data subject. For example, it may be necessary to use one or more subcontractors (such as transport companies) to meet our contractual obligations (such as the delivery of goods to the data subject). This means in turn that the disclosure of the name and address is required.
Your Rights as a Data Subject
In the following, we will inform you of your data subject rights per the data protection regulations of GDPR and the German Data Protection Act.
Whatever the circumstances, we want to meet any legal claims you may have. If you ask us to provide information, please note that your request may take some time to complete, but that we will answer your inquiry within the legally permissible time frame of 4 weeks.
As a data subject, you have the right at any time and free of charge to demand information about any personal data we may have concerning you. When providing this information, we will tell you the purpose of data storage, the nature and extent of all personal data, any recipients, and the reasons for sharing said data.
In addition, you, the data subject, can demand that we correct or delete your personal data, which we will of course comply with, insofar as this is legally permissible.
You can object to the processing of your personal data for the future and revoke any consent you may have previously given. The right to object or to withdraw consent is provided by GDPR.
In the event that, in accordance with the law on data portability, you wish to receive the personal data we hold on you, we will provide it in a CSV file, as there is no standardized format for this process.
We do not use automatic decision-making or profiling.
Identity Determination to Protect Data Subjects
To avoid misuse of personal data by unauthorized third parties, we use a suitable method to determine the identity of the requesting person in the course of a request for information, deletion, or correction and for the transfer of personal data.
Right of Appeal to the Supervisory Authorities
Should you be of the opinion that, despite all due care, we did not act correctly, and/or did not process your personal data properly, or were not entitled to do so, we ask you to provide factual evidence or to send a complaint to our data protection officer, Sylvana Schreiber. The relevant contact details can be found in introductory part of this Privacy Policy.
Irrespective of this, you, the data subject, have the right to complain to the data protection supervision authority that is responsible for us as the data controller.
